Infracost estimates cloud spend from Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK before deploy. It runs in the CLI, IDE, CI pull requests, and HCP Terraform run tasks with FinOps policy checks. We assess it to shift cost visibility left alongside Checkov security gates on IaC repos.
