OpenCost

OpenCost is a CNCF incubating project for Kubernetes and multi-cloud cost monitoring. It allocates spend by namespace, workload, and container using billing API integrations and optional Prometheus exports. We assess it as the default OSS path when teams need showback or chargeback without a commercial FinOps suite.
